ORKA Veterinary Clinic in the LuxVet Group

30.08.2022

The ORKA Veterinary Clinic in Czechowice-Dziedzice joined the LuxVet Group this August. The Group will invest in refreshing its interiors, develop selected specialisations and create additional jobs. Determination of the scope of investment activities and their implementation is taking place in close cooperation with the founders of the facility.

The ORKA Veterinary Clinic (ul. Mazańcowicka 36, Czechowice-Dziedzice) was established in 1990 and is now one of the best known veterinary facilities in the region. The founders, veterinary specialists, Róża and Krzysztof Orlik, skilfully combine tradition and a family atmosphere with modernity, expressed, among other things, in state-of-the-art equipment and a constantly expanding range of services. Currently ORKA consists of a veterinary clinic, a certified Labo-Vet veterinary laboratory and a pet shop. The clinic is equipped with modern diagnostic (ultrasound, ECG, endoscope, X-ray) and treatment equipment. It has an operating theatre suitable for most general surgery and orthopaedic procedures.

“By concentrating a wide range of services in one place, we are able to respond to most of our patients' needs. After joining the LuxVet Group, this range will increase even further. Together we have selected areas and additional specialisations which, thanks to the investment from the Group, we will be able to develop in the short term,” - says lek. wet. Róża Orlik, co-founder and manager of the ORKA veterinary clinic.

Upcoming plans include expanding the ORKA team to include specialists in dentistry, internal medicine, dermatology and cardiology. The LuxVet Group will renovate and equip the rehabilitation room, provide the facility with additional equipment for orthopaedic procedures and finance the purchase of gastroscopy equipment. The interior of the facility will be refreshed, a new reception desk and signage for the clinic will be created. In addition, the facility will receive support in administrative and accounting work, purchasing, IT support and marketing. LuxVet will not interfere with the clinic’s medical procedures. The clinic will also retain its existing name and logo.

The processes of integrating outpatient clinics into the Group’s structures will be carried out at a pace that matches its dynamics.  The LuxVet Group will also take care of employees, offering them, among other things, a training system and private medical care.
