11.12.2023

The LuxVet Group expands its reach and reputation by adding the first facility in Romania to its family. Vetzone Spital Veterinar is a modern 24-hour clinic located in the picturesque town of Constanta, in the south-east of Romania on the Black Sea. It was founded by doctors of veterinary medicine, Laurentiu and Cristina Leica.

Vetzone has an experienced team of 16 qualified veterinarians specializing in various fields, 7 veterinary technicians and 1 administrative employee. The facility offers a wide range of specialized services, including surgery, orthopaedics, dermatology, allergology, internal medicine treatment, endocrinology, cardiology, dentistry, and emergency medicine.

Vetzone has a state-of-the-art operating room, equipped with an arthroscope, inhalation anaesthesia equipment, anaesthesia monitor, postoperative oxygen chamber and incubator. It also has a hospital section for animals requiring round-the-clock care, a diagnostic imaging room, where X-ray and ultrasound examinations are performed, and a laboratory, which allows most of the tests to be performed on site.

- Joining the LuxVet Group opens up exciting prospects for us. Our cooperation is not just a step into the future, it is more of an evolutionary leap. Now we will be able to really influence the development of veterinary medicine on a European and even global scale. We are excited to share our knowledge, experience and innovation with other professionals to help us raise the standard of patient care. We are very happy that together we have opened doors to cross-border cooperation. - says Laurentiu Leica, DVM and founder of the facility.
- We believe that together with the LuxVet Group we will be able to offer our patients an even broader scope of care, and the opportunity to share our experiences with doctors from Poland will have a positive impact on the development of the entire Group. We have built our facility with the highest standards in mind, in no way inferior to Western clinics, and today we are glad that it has been appreciated and that we will continue this mission together. - says Cristina Leica, DVM and Clinic Director.
- Growth and development are one of the fundamental values of the LuxVet Group. We are proud to enter the Romanian veterinary market in the exquisite company of Mr. and Mrs. Leica. After a period of dynamic growth and building a respected brand in Poland, the time has come to share our knowledge and experience with the neighbouring geographic markets. Our Group has become a symbol of quality, commitment and professionalism in veterinary care. We want to carry these values further. The expansion is another milestone in our mission to improve the quality of life and health of animals. We are proud to be on this path together with our doctors, patients and their owners. This is just the beginning – together we are changing the world of veterinary medicine for the better. - says Piotr Zajączkowski, CEO of the LuxVet Group.
