The LuxVet Group is strengthening its position in Warsaw. Following a recently signed agreement, the Group welcomed in its ranks one of the oldest and most recognizable veterinary facilities in Warsaw, the VETS Veterinary Clinic.
The clinic is located at ul. Książęca 3 in Warsaw’s Śródmieście district. It was founded in 1991 by doctor Waldemar Wośko. In 2006, the facility was expanded to provide more comfort, safety and top quality of services for its patients. It now offers 24-hour veterinary care, as well as the possibility of booking a home visit. It is one of only a few facilities in Warsaw that owns an ambulance.
The VETS team consists of 27 veterinary doctors offering internal medicine, surgery, orthopaedics, neurology, cardiology, nephrology, endoscopy, ophthalmology, anaesthesiology and diagnostic imaging (ultrasound) services, along with 11 assistants and technicians. The facility has a surgery ward comprised of an operating room with a hospital for post-surgery patients, a doctor’s office where surgical and orthopaedic consultations are provided, and an X-ray room. There are also 3 internal medicine offices, an office for specialists (ultrasound diagnostics, ophthalmology, oncology, nephrology), and a reception desk at customers’ disposal.
Through integration with the LuxVet Group, the facility will receive support in the area of administration and accounting, operations, procurement, HR and recruitment, IT support and marketing. The team will have access to the Group’s training and knowledge exchange and will receive private medical care.
